About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Counsel, Employment Legal for France. This role is pivotal in the global expansion of the company, as it involves navigating the complex legal landscape of multiple jurisdictions to ensure the legal soundness of business models, contractual agreements, and compliance with employment and data protection laws. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic legal team, responsible for delivering innovative legal solutions and protecting the company from unacceptable risks. Key responsibilities include advising on a wide range of employment law issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the team's knowledge base. The role also requires the ability to master employment law and contracts for specific regions and to identify and implement solutions for company-wide legal issues. Applicants must be qualified French lawyers with experience in both advisory and contentious employment law, covering the entire employee lifecycle. A passion for tech, particularly HR tech, and previous in-house experience in a relevant industry is a strong plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and be well-versed in modern business and legal tools. Fluency in English and French is essential, and a willingness to learn about different legal systems is a must. The role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse, international environment and to build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
