About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Acquisitions to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the acquisition process, from sourcing to securing high-potential real estate opportunities in the multi-family space. This role demands a dynamic professional with a strong presence in the real estate community, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to foster and manage relationships with property owners, brokers, and other key stakeholders. The Vice President of Acquisitions will be tasked with developing and implementing an acquisition strategy, actively identifying and pursuing opportunities, leading negotiations, and overseeing the preparation of acquisition proposals. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in real estate acquisitions, with a proven track record of successful transactions, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A Master's degree is preferred. The role requires a strong understanding of real estate markets, financial analysis, and investment strategies, as well as proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software. The candidate should be adept at networking, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment. The position also involves staying informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that could impact acquisition strategies, as well as monitoring the performance of acquired properties to ensure they meet expected returns.
