HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Job Description & Requirements Title: Certified Surgical First Assistant
Location: Mount Vernon, OH
Duration:13 weeks
Shift: Days – 5x8-Hour Shifts (07:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday
Call required once per week and every 4th weekend
Holiday coverage possible
Block scheduling not available
Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to scrub in on surgical procedures
Assist the surgeon during operative procedures in the operating room
Prepare and maintain a sterile environment during surgeries
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Float may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliated facilities
Required Skills & Experience:
Prior first assist experience preferred
Must be able to take call once per week and every 4th weekend
First-time travelers are accepted
No specific charting system experience required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical setting
Certifications:
NBSTSA CSFA or equivalent
