Now, as they look ahead to the next decade of growth, we are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and visionary Senior Vice President of Development to help drive the next phase of expansion and lead the Phoenix office.

Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of experience with a commercial real estate company with the last 10 years being in Phoenix, Arizona.
• Career experience with an industrial landlord or developer is required.
• Vast knowledge of the overall Phoenix commercial real estate industry.
• Experience in purchasing land sites and land development including site work projects.
• Proven capability in successful zoning and entitlement actions is required.
• Heavy experience negotiating industrial leases.
• Must have experience in site planning, project feasibility and asset management.
• Familiarity with legal aspects of Arizona real estate.
• Have had management of staff personnel in their career.
• Thorough understanding of the industrial real estate industry including market trends, building specifications and the development process.
• Have worked closely with industrial property managers maintaining buildings and establishing close tenant relationships.
• Experience in acquisition, disposition and project financing is required.
• Experience with Multi Family developments is preferred.

Education

• An undergraduate degree with a major in Business, Construction, Economics, Finance or Real Estate is required.
• A graduate degree in business is preferred.

• Project proforma generation and maintenance.
• High degree of initiative and independent judgement.
• Hands on management style with attention to detail.
• Reporting and presentation ability to upper management or board of directors’ levels.
• Ability to lead and train employees. Mentoring staff for advancement and proficiency in their roles.
• Knowledgeable in financial analysis and lease language and related legal concepts.
• Self-starter with ability to aggressively pursue the goals of the company.
• Must maintain an understanding and appreciation of the company’s culture and policies.
• Be able to network in the Phoenix commercial real estate industry and with city government leaders.
• Ability to handle a significant number of projects and issues on a daily basis.
• High character, integrity and confident are required traits of this position.
