Job Description

A school-based position is available for two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary-aged students. This contract role provides therapy services designed to improve communication skills for diverse learners in an educational setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy to elementary students up to 8 hours daily, 40 hours per week
• Managing caseloads capped at 66 students, ensuring individualized attention and progress monitoring
• Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication goals
• Providing services consistent with district guidelines and educational standards
• Utilizing teletherapy methods as needed to enhance therapy access and continuity

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent credentials
• Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy environments
• Eligibility or status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinician is welcomed
• Competency in SLPA supervision or experience collaborating with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in both healthcare and school settings
• Flexibility to start as soon as possible and commit to a contract that extends until the district hires permanent staff
