Hospitalist Physician at Sound Physicians summary:

A Hospitalist Physician provides comprehensive inpatient care, collaborating closely with a diverse medical team to manage complex cases in a hospital setting. The position involves responding to emergencies, participating in hospital committees, and supporting patient-first care within the Auburn, Washington community. Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 14 physicians and two APPs with the support of a clinical performance nurse at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
• Our group of physicians and APPs is diverse, with various training and experience backgrounds.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in internal or family medicine.
• ACLS and BLS certified.
• We proudly sponsor J1 and H1b visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• We welcome the challenge of complex cases, working in an open ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage.
• Respond to codes and rapid response for our patients.
• Team members must have some level of stewardship and involvement in committees, the hospital, and Sound Physicians' objectives.
