Girls Soccer Coach- CSA North Zone 1 (US)

Cedar Stars Academy Soccer Club with divisions in New Jersey & New York are looking for a Zone 1 Girls Coach (U8-U12) with a passion for soccer and experience with youth soccer.

The CSA North Head Coach is responsible for coaching and developing elite players at Cedar Stars Academy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The Academy Head Coach is responsible for coaching the team in consultation with the Academy Director and in accordance with the Cedar Stars Academy vision, values and philosophy.
2. Responsible for the management and coaching of the team during the training sessions and games. Coordinates and prepares aspects of the Player Pathway model.
3. Develop and prepare the players for the transition to progress in the academy system and international teams.
4. Empowers the players to become a part of their own development program and make decisions regarding to it.
5. Develop a positive relationship with the parents and be available to provide feedback to parents throughout the season regarding the performance of the child.
6. Consult and collaborate with the Sports Science and Performance department to make personal fitness programs, dietary plans and discuss injury reports.
7. Responsible for a clear communication with the Academy Director and CSA North Zone 1 Director.
8. Report and discuss talent in the age category with the Scouting Department.
9. Assist as a coach with CSA Academy, Talent ID Events, and PDP/Camps as instructed.
10. Candidate should be open to perform a demo session on the field with the Cedar Stars Academy players as part of their interview process.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. The required coaching degrees, such as the USSF C license and/or a similar level coaching qualification such as UEFA A Youth License.
2. A minimum of (3) years of experience as a coach within professional (youth) soccer.
3. Proven knowledge of the American soccer system.
4. Proven knowledge and experience of developing young athletes at elite level.
5. Desirable experience as a professional or semi-professional soccer player.
6. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
7. Good team player.
